Yes and No. Monochrome cameras or B&W cameras are really a thing of the past. However most all color cameras today have a Day/ Night function. The camera switches to a monochrome camera once the light level becomes too low. To further increase the cameras sensitivity IR illumination is also used. The manufacturer uses a solid state LED, that outputs in the infrared spectrum generally between 800nm and 850nm making it nearly invisible to the naked eye, yet allows the camera to see in total darkness.
